JGV Piston Valves
A PISTON VALVE is a device used to control the motion of a fluid, air or steam along a tube or pipe by means of the linear motion of a piston within a chamber or cylinder. Piston Valves are typically constructed primarily from pipe fittings and machined plastics or metals. The inside of a piston valve contains a piston that blocks the output when the valve is pressurized, and a volume of air behind the piston. When the pressure behind the piston is released the piston is pushed back by the force of the pressure from the input. This allows the valve to be opened by a much smaller pilot valve, with speeds faster than possible with just a manually operated valve.
Piston Valves also control the admission of steam into the cylinders and its subsequent exhausting, enabling a locomotive to move under its own power. The valve consists of two piston heads on a common spindle moving inside a steam chest, which is essentially a mini-cylinder located either above or below the main cylinders of the locomotive.

JGV Angel Valves:
An ANGLE VALVE is a manually operated valve with its outlet opening oriented at right angles to its inlet opening, used for regulating the flow of a fluid in a pipe. A Valve for controlling the flow of a liquid or air, the fluid leaves at right angles to the direction in which it enters the valve, i.e. 90° of configuration of inlet and outlet ports.

JGV Needle Valves
NEEDLE VALVE is a type of valve with a small port and a threaded, needle-shaped plunger. It allows precise regulation of flow, although it is generally only capable of relatively low flow rates. n instrument needle valve uses a tapered pin to gradually open a space for fine control of flow. The flow can be controlled and regulated with the use of a spindle. A needle valve has a relatively small orifice with a long, tapered seat, and a needle-shaped plunger on the end of a screw, which exactly fits the seat.
As the screw is turned and the plunger retracted, flow between the seat and the plunger is possible; however, until the plunger is completely retracted, the fluid flow is significantly impeded. Since it takes many turns of the fine-threaded screw to retract the plunger, precise regulation of the flow rate is easily possible.
